New Wedding website!
Today I finished off a new home for my wedding work, http://cargocollective.com/warfieldweddings. I am pretty excited about it, so if you know anyone who is thinking of tying the knot, send them my way. I love weddings. I think all the different things that I work on contribute and inform each other in so many ways; it gets better and better all the time. It is all a part of the same story.

AJ & Loretto Seles!
Last weekend I was in Palm Springs, California to photograph the wedding of some old friends from RISD. I was also a guest, and it was wonderful. AJ and Loretto are talented and crafty and put everything together themselves. I loved being a part of it and being at the Ace Hotel out there in the desert. I cannot tell you how much I love pools. I have a separate wedding blog, to showcase all the amazing weddings I have been a part of recently, but I had to share this picture....I wish I had that elephant in my house. p.s. if you know anyone looking for a wedding photographer, send them my way.

Did I tell you I shoot weddings?
well I do sometimes, and I think of it as a great honor. If you know anyone who got engaged on Christmas, send them the link to my wedding photo blog if you wouldn't mind. I am available in New York and the surrounding area of course, but also on Nantucket, as I have family there, and anywhere else for that matter. I love planes. Thanks!

Love is ageless

This past Saturday I shot a wedding, which I have only done once before, but this was a special case. The bride, Babs Kellogg turned 92 yesterday and the groom, Leonard Schwartz, a spry 88. They had a bus to bring all their friends from the retirement community in Princeton up to St.Mary's on 126th Street and then to the champagne toast at the Waldorf-Astoria. I felt honored to be part of their wedding. They seemed really happy and kept telling me not to leave that Toni Morrison was going to show up any minute.
