I was honored to be in the company of such talented artists at the Costa Verde International School benefit auction last night at 401 projects. This is the second time I have participated in this event and it was a beautiful show....and a great party.

Working Life WALL OF FAME: Michael Bloomberg

Bloomberg sent me a signed picture, which is going right up on my wall, right next to my framed notice of jury exemption until 2017. Thank you Mr. Mayor!

Working Life WALL OF FAME: David Sedaris

David Sedaris is a gem, but we knew that already. This just confirms it. I sent him a note and asked him if I could photograph him for my project, Working Life, and I got a postcard in the mail the other day in response. I almost fell over I laughed so hard. Thank you Mr. Sedaris

I took some pictures this week of my friend Jamie Gray's new place Walden at 502 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is a great place, with a fantastic wine selection, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Go check it out asap. Call me first, I'll meet you there. Actually, I might be there already.

I've been in hot weather since May. Portugal was like the surface of the sun from day 1. I am so ready for scarves and hats and boots and....wait, what? It says it will be 80 on Sunday. Seriously? I guess I may regret my words when I snowed in with a dwindling supply of Bulleit. These pictures are from August at my papa's house party in Connecticut.
